I really love industrial and rusty environments..
And also rusty mixed media projects...
The rusty paste from Viva Decor is wonderful to work with. They have 2 kinds of rusty paste, a brown one and a more orange one.
Together with the green patina you get a lovely rusty result.
I have use paper from Studio Light Industrial on the background. The Industrial lamps from IndigoBlu (one of my favourite stamps) is stamped on watercolor paper with versamagic... i love that chalky look...
And when it was dry i used some water with the green patina to give it extra industrial and rusty dimension.
I made this mixed media on Black Foamboard, so it is very lightweighted and it gave me the possibillity to experiment with some green ledlights.
Unfortunately you can't see that very clear on the pictures..
..The frame is also made from black foamboard...and I gave it the rusty look to fit the background.
The gears on the leftcorner are MDF gears from SnipArt. i gave them the rustygreen look with the patina.
